What is Sports & Remedial Therapy?

Remedial Therapy can be described as the assessment and treatment of painful and dysfunctional soft tissues (i.e. muscles, tendons, ligaments). Using a combination of techniques like, Trigger point release, Deep tissue massage, Myofascial Dry Needling, partner assisted stretching (MET/PNF) to achieve a treatment specific goal, such as reduced pain, increased range of motion, increased strength and flexibility.

Sports Therapy is the application of the remedial techniques in a sports specific way, before, during and after activity, often of short duration, dealing with injury, strains and cramps as they occur.
