Remedial Therapy is recognised by the Health funds and depending on your level of cover rebates are available.
To qualify to be a Provider you must have a Diploma of Remedial Massage HLT50302, have current and annually renewed Membership of the AAMT (Australian Association of Massage Therapists), public liability insurance and current Senior First Aid.
To remain a member of the AAMT, you must gain continuing professional development points each year, to this end I am also a member of SMA (Sports Medicine Australia), who run many advanced courses through out the year advising members of the latest advances in Health and Safety in sport.
I am registered with the Australian Funds automatically via my AAMT membership.
A Health Fund receipt with the relevant Provider Numbers and details will be issued after each treatment.
